Client Onboarding Analyst

 

Responsibilities:

  • - Working as part of a 3 person Client Onboarding Team (reporting to the Head of Operations).
  • - Conducting initial due diligence and undertaking risk based analysis on proposed new clients.
  • - Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory, AML and JMLSG rules and guidelines.
  • - Interacting in a professional manner with internal and external parties.
  • - Escalating issues with the Head of Operations and the Compliance department.
  • - Monthly production of Management Information.
  • - Setting up static data in multiple in-house and external front and back office systems.
  • - Conduct ongoing due diligence using 3rd party screening software, including C6, URU, PI, Worldcheck and Companies House.
  • - Proactively contributing to an internal reference data project, collaborating with internal Project Office and Development.

 

 

Candidate requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following skill set and competencies:

 - A minimum of 5 years working as a Client Onboarding Analyst in a similar environment.

  • - Knowledge of relevant regulation, AML and JMLSG rules and guidance.
  • - Experience with conducting due diligence on retail individuals and entities.
  • - Experience with conducting due diligence on Professional and Eligible clients based globally.
  • - Experience with understanding complex company structures; Hedge Funds, Trusts and Asset Managers.
  • - Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Able to act independently on own initiative.
