The Department
The Investment Services department provides services and support to Investment
Management [IM] portfolio managers, traders and the IM Leadership team. The
department is a global function and comprises of Counterparty Management, Front
Office Services, Business Management, Research Information Support and Trade
Assistants (Denver based).

Overview of the Role
The Counterparty Management Analyst role is within the Counterparty Management
team sitting within the Investment Services Department. You will be responsible for
providing support to the Global Head of Counterparty Management supporting the
coordination of Counterparty and broker approval and exit processes, the analysis
and review of counterparty commercials and service levels as well as supporting the ongoing relationship management with counterparties on behalf of key Stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
You will:
 Be responsible for being the central coordination point both internally and externally
for counterparty approval and removal, managing requests with key stakeholders
such as Counterparty Risk, Compliance and Operations.
 Coordinate of all KYC requests as part of the Counterparty and Broker approvals
process managing queries to ensure the entity is approved in a timely manner.
 Support execution, clearing and financing rate reviews; this includes compiling
analysis and coordination of the internal reviews and subsequent implementations
with a view to become an SME in this area.
 Provide support in collating and producing relevant Management Information / KPIs
for review by the IM Leadership team, this includes but is not limited to: Counterparty 
coverage/usage, Counterparty wallet, exposure, quality of service received,
benchmarking against peers, regulatory impacts and key challenges/issues.
 Support the coordination of internal feedback on our brokers/counterparties as part
of a broader broker review process. Collate the feedback from these interactions,
assuming ownership of action deliveries. Continually strive to improve these
processes, automating where possible.
 Implement appropriate controls where required ensuring any procedures/policies is
updated in line with any changes.
 Provide SME (subject matter expertise) to support on key process changes and
technology initiatives impacting the Counterparty Management Team or IM
 Input and contribute to the team’s development; this includes keeping abreast of
industry and regulatory developments, changes with respect to counterparties and
derivative reforms, and analysing the impacts they will have.
 Support other key Investment Management senior leaders eg the Heads of Trading
in key counterparty relationship meetings, providing MI, collating minutes/actions
where required.
 Carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
 Good understanding of the core instruments, products and funds used by Asset
Managers including OTC and exchange traded derivatives.
 Previous Prime Brokerage knowledge would be preferred however not essential.
 Strong Excel skills preferred.
 Good PowerPoint presentation skills.
