- Previous experience in a similar role within a finance department is a plus.

OVERVIEW | Accounts Assistant FTC
We are seeking a dedicated finance professional to join the client's team and take on a variety of responsibilities. You will process purchase invoices with a focus on accuracy and proper coding, ensuring appropriate authorisations are in place. Managing accounts payable and ensuring timely payment of invoices will be key duties, along with reconciling bank statements with internal financial records regularly. You will investigate and resolve any discrepancies during the reconciliation process, input financial data accurately into accounting systems (NetSuite), and maintain updated records of financial transactions.
In addition, you will process employee expense claims in accordance with company policy, ensuring proper authorisation and categorisation. Assisting with month-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, will be part of your role, as well as preparing reports for the senior finance team and management. You will also be involved in preparing financial summaries and reports as needed, supporting audit preparations, and liaising with auditors. Finally, you'll assist the finance team with various administrative tasks and help in filing and maintaining financial documents.
