This role is an excellent fixed-term opportunity for someone looking to support senior members of the fund accounting and financial reporting team. You'll review and proofread financial statements for a variety of their products, including UK OEICs, Luxembourg SICAVs, Irish OEICs, Investment Trusts, and Hedge Funds, with a critical understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include presenting financial statements at fund board meetings, resolving internal and external queries, and assisting with distribution rate reviews, expense monitoring, and board paper preparation. Additionally, you’ll help with the termination or revocation process of closed funds. This role offers a valuable chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and challenging environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS | Financial Reporting Specialist (18-month FTC)
- Extensive Fund Accounting and Fund Financial Reporting experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationships with Stakeholders.
- Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Enthusiastic, approachable and able to work well across team.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
DESIRABLE SKILLS | Financial Reporting Specialist (18-month FTC)
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Experience of role overseeing third party provider.
