Operations Analyst (3-month FTC)

William Rose Associates are currently partnering with an established Asset Management Firm based in London, which is looking for an Operations Analyst to join the business on a 3-month FTC.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS | Operations Analyst FTC
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment management operations, specifically in trade processing, settlement, and valuations.
- Solid experience with global equity markets.
- Strong IT, systems, and technology proficiency; advanced or intermediate Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on accuracy in task completion.
The role involves managing daily equity trade matching and ensuring timely submission to custodians, as well as resolving issues with counter parties and custodians to ensure smooth settlement. You'll monitor cash balances, provide reports to portfolio managers, and collaborate with fund administrators on accurate NAV calculations. Other responsibilities include reviewing FX transactions, processing corporate actions and proxy voting with portfolio managers, and handling investor flow reports. You'll also monitor regulatory compliance, including reporting requirements under UCITS and MiFID II, and liaise with internal teams and external service providers. Additionally, you'll maintain portfolio data and contribute to efficiency improvement projects.
