ESSENTIAL SKILLS | International Product Governance Manager
- Expert in global asset management regulations, including AIFMD (Luxembourg), UCITS (Ireland), and Cayman feeder fund frameworks, with a strong grasp of securities, AML, and privacy rules
- Proficient in implementing and maintaining a Regulatory Compliance Management Framework
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in asset management
OVERVIEW | International Product Governance Manager
This role sits within a regulatory governance function at a leading asset manager and focuses on overseeing international product and portfolio management governance activities. The position supports global investment operations, with particular emphasis on compliance with Luxembourg AIFMD, Irish UCITS, and Cayman fund regulations. Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on regulatory frameworks impacting portfolio management, maintaining governance documentation, and ensuring adherence to ESG and sustainability disclosure rules such as SFDR. The role also supports the wider regulatory compliance management framework, including control design, regulatory mapping, and issue remediation. It involves close collaboration with global teams, third-party management companies, and governance stakeholders to ensure regulatory obligations are met and the control environment is continually enhanced.
