ESSENTIAL SKILLS | Operations Manager

  1. Derivatives experience essential 
  2. Metals or FX understanding ideal
  3. Team management experience 
  4. Banking/Brokerage background.
  5. Highly effective at working with colleagues, business partners, and external stakeholders.
  6. Exceptional at analyzing risks, identifying issues, and questioning established practices.
  7. Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities.
  8. Prior client and/or sales interaction experience.
  9. Excellent communication skills with external client face to face meeting experience

 
OVERVIEW | Operations Manager

The business is looking for an Operations Manager to join their FX, Derivatives & Metals Operations Team. This role is crucial, providing first-line support for allocation, fixings, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations. As the position is fast-paced and high-risk, precision, efficiency, and strong control are essential for effective risk management. You will lead and oversee the Operations team, ensuring exceptional support for both Sales & Trading. You'll manage three direct reports, each a Team Manager for their respective areas, and work to strengthen communication and strategic partnerships with clients and internal departments. Additionally, you'll focus on enhancing automation, developing talent, and retaining top performers.
