William Rose Associates are currently partnering with an established Investment Management firm based in London, which is looking for a Transfer Processing Administrator to join the firm.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS | Transfer Processing Administrator
- 2-3 Years' experience in a trade support, settlements or transitions role.
- Knowledge of FCA Regulations, particularly CASS and Mifid II Transaction Reporting.
- Some knowledge of market practice relevant to private clients.
- Educated to minimum of A-level standard.
- Ideally Altus Transfer Gateway System knowledge/ Equisoft.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of HMRC tax implications in relation to the transfer of securities.
- Ability to maintain required standards when working under pressure.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable.
- Proficient in Excel.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transition of securities within the firm's systems, which involves inputting non-market transfers and ensuring their accuracy. You'll perform relevant controls on new security lines before they are accepted, arrange trade and settlement dates with market counterparts, and monitor transitioning securities to ensure they are completed within expected timeframes. Investigating and resolving issues with failed or unmatched transfers will be a key part of your duties, requiring coordination with both internal departments and external custodians. Additionally, you will oversee non-client assets received by the firm and ensure that all queries are handled promptly and positively.
Beyond these core tasks, you may assist with various department projects, participate in system testing, and ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards. Maintaining your professional competence through ongoing training will also be part of your responsibilities.
