William Rose Associates are currently partnering with an established Financial Services firm based in London, which is looking for a Corporate Actions Associate to join the firm.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS | Corporate Actions Associate

1. Strong understanding of corporate actions and the full trade lifecycle, including impacts of corporate events on trading.
2. In-depth knowledge of operational processes across market making and related functions.
3. Consistent track record of delivering high performance focused on client outcomes, profitability, and shareholder value.
4. Skilled in implementing and maintaining risk management frameworks, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
5. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CASS rules related to client money and assets.
6. Proven ability to build and lead a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with company-wide values and D&I goals.

OVERVIEW | Corporate Actions Associate

The Corporate Actions Associate will be responsible for managing and processing a range of corporate actions and dividend events for the firm and its clients, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and product-specific requirements. This role involves the timely and accurate handling of corporate actions, dividends, fund conversions, income events, and related claims. You’ll also be involved in managing primary and secondary placings, as well as ensuring shareholder communications—such as proxy voting and disclosures—are delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, adhering to internal and external service level agreements, and ensuring strong outcomes for clients and stakeholders. The role also requires daily task completion, investigating and resolving reconciliation issues, escalating any process or control concerns, and supporting risk management efforts.
