Job Title: Desk Assistant
Location: London
Role Overview:
William Rose Associates is currently assisting a well-known Financial Services firm based in London who are looking to hire a Desk Assistant for their forward-thinking team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Investment Management team in the development and management of client relationships.
- Producing letters and presentation packs.
- Entering new data and managing current data in the firm’s Customer Relationship Management software system.
- Handling day-to-day client queries and administrative matters such as payments, setting up new accounts, sending out client documentation.
- Answering telephone calls on the main switchboard.
- Filing of paperwork electronically relating to client correspondence.
- Assisting with the post and scanning relevant correspondence when required.
- Placing deals for execution only clients or at the request of an Investment Manager.
- Arranging catering for client/fund manager meetings.
- Other duties as may be expected of a desk assistant at an Investment Management firm.
Requirements:
Technical:
- Good MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferable.
Personal:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Focus on delivering internal and external customer satisfaction.
Knowledge and Expertise
- Good awareness of FCA regulatory environment.
Experience, qualifications and other requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in administrative support within financial services.
