Job Title: Senior Investment Analyst

Role Overview:
William Rose Associates are partnering with a Wealth Management Firm based in London, which is recruiting a Senior Investment Analyst to join the business.
The job holder will report to the CIO to assist with annual fund due diligence review meetings, preparation of regular Portfolio Monitoring Reports for all portfolios over time. Leading on establishing a formal active fund/manager selection process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CIO with annual fund due diligence review meetings with our major active fund providers.
- Lead on the preparation of regular Portfolio Monitoring Reports for all portfolios over time but starting with our core ranges (including ARC comparisons) that will be presented to the CIO and IPGC.
- Lead on establishing a formal active fund/manager selection process, which combines fundamental research with quantitative analysis to help inform investment decisions from IPGC.
- Responsible for fund due diligence review process to ensure that all existing funds are reviewed across quantitative and qualitative factors and compared versus competitors on a rolling frequent basis.
- Undertake detailed manager and fund research and selection following the CIO and IPGC's view in market opportunities.
- Assist the CIO in improving and maintaining the firm’s framework for strategic asset allocation.
- Assist the CIO in maintaining our Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions framework.
- Lead on maintaining and improving fund database, ensuring the effective utilisation of Morningstar data feed and error-free raw data environment with support of junior analyst.
- Maintain accurate internal data records and processes to the highest standard.
- Assist CIO to build and maintain an external profile for IM as a thought leadership brand through publications, media engagements, conference presentations and client meetings.
- Assist CIO with discussions and update team members about capital markets, portfolio performance, positioning, and systematic investment process.
- Meeting with clients (public facing side of role) – asset allocation, expected returns,
- Experience in Wealth Management or Investment Management Business in a similar position for at least 5 years
- Level 3 CFA Qualified
- UK regulations thorough knowledge and and US regulation preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a desire to progress through learning and further work experience within the team.
