Job Title: Fund Operations Supervisor

Role Overview:
William Rose Associates are working alongside a highly regarded Asset Management firm based in London which is looking for a Fund Operations Supervisor, to join the firm on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and Supervision of the NAV Oversight function for all in house funds involving a varied range of Flagship and Specialist funds, managed across multiple locations including the UK, Europe, Australia and the US.
- Supervision and management of Team members and point of escalation within NAV Function.
- Coordinate the completion of all NAV oversight reconciliations by the NAV oversight team.
- Provision of support for Team manager including holiday cover when absent.
- Represent NAV oversight team in internal project working groups where required.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of fund structures and underlying asset types.
- Identifying and resolving NAV discrepancies across our funds and communicating as needed with fund administrators and fund managers.
- Communicating all price and performance movements of our funds to the relevant parties across the business with the ability to give a detailed rationale and challenge for any movements.
- Responsibility for continued analysis of processes to ensure all controls are appropriate and fit for purpose, along with identifying and implementing process improvements where necessary.
- Point of contact for all third parties including responsibility for managing regular service calls with system providers and administrators.
- Knowledge and understanding of the companies investment strategy and correlation to our range of fund products.
- Understanding of Derivatives and how they operate and are reflected with in the funds.
- Compiling Fund data for inclusion in company factsheets.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all NAV oversight activity and work with auditors on an annual basis as required.
- Calculation and verification of management fees across all our funds.
- Assist with the setup of any new funds in our NAV oversight system including any UAT testing required.
- Assisting with new development testing.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain high standards of diligence and accuracy at all times
- Ability to multitask, whilst working to tight deadlines
- Desire to work as an active member of a team, and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
- Absolute focus on client service, including awareness of cultural differences in working practices
- High standard of IT literacy (MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
